About ASTM A194 Gr.2H Nut

The a194 2h material bar stock that has been heating treated is used in the production of these nuts, which are then given specific heat treatment and have a particular chemical makeup. The nominal size of the nuts can range from 14 inches up to 1 ½ inch, and the number of threads per inch can go anywhere from 8 to 20.

The ASTM A194 Grade 2H T Nuts and other types of nuts have a Brinell hardness that can range anywhere from 212 to 327BHN, depending on the size of the nut. At a temperature of 455 degrees Celsius, the quenched and tempered heat treatment is carried out. A wide variety is available, including grade 2h coupling nuts, which join two separate components into a single assembly.
