A moderate carbon austenitic steel suited for high-pressure and increased temperature applications is Stainless Steel 310 Seamless Pipes. Various specifications exist, including ASME A213 and 312. The pipes and tubes can withstand temperatures of up to 1150 degrees Celsius when operating continuously and up to 1035 degrees Celsius when operating intermittently. The pipe machining tools include sandblasting equipment, press equipment, bending equipment, pushing equipment, electric beveling equipment, etc.
Properties of Stainless Steel 310 pipes:
- Sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, manganese, carbon, 24% chromium, 19% nickel, and other elements make up the Stainless Steel 310 pipes.
- Additionally, the material has a minimum tensile strength of 520MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205MPa. The 310 Stainless Steel Pipe’s elongation rate is 40%, and its Brinell hardness is 225HBW.

About 310 Stainless Steel Pipe
- The pipes’ nominal bore sizes range from 12 inches to 100 inches. The 310 stainless steel tube can be LSAW, ERW, welded, or seamless.

Iron is an essential metal that, depending on temperature, can adopt either body-centered cubic (BCC) or face-centered cubic (FCC) crystalline structures (allotropic forms).
- Steel and cast iron have a variety of distinctive qualities due to the connection of these allotropes with additives, primarily carbon. Because there is very little resistance in the crystal structure of pure iron for the iron atoms to slide past one another, pure iron is quite flexible or soft and readily produced.
- Small quantities of carbon, other elements, and inclusions inside the iron operate as hardening agents in stainless steel 310 square pipes, preventing the movement of dislocations that would otherwise happen in the crystal lattices of iron atoms.
- High-temperature service is intended for stainless steel 310 pipe, which combines outstanding high-temperature qualities with strong ductility and weldability.
- As long as reducing sulfur fumes are absent, SS 310 Pipe can withstand sustained use at temperatures up to 1150°C without succumbing to oxidation. SS 310 Pipe is also employed in intermittent operation at temperatures as high as 1040 °C.
- There is an iron atom in the center of each cube in the body-centered cubic configuration of stainless steel 310S pipes, whereas there is only one in the center of each face in the face-centered cubic arrangement.
